Swapping computers for gardening gloves: Team Absolute volunteers at Dartmoor Zoo

Earlier this year, Team Absolute swapped computers for gardening gloves and spent a day volunteering at Dartmoor Zoo as part of our commitment to give back to the communities in which we operate in.

The morning saw us tidy an area set to become an outdoor classroom for school visits. We cleared away wire, concrete, twigs, and scattered logs that had built up over winter, helping create a safe and welcoming space for young learners.

By the afternoon, we were hauling long timber battens out of the public’s way, ready to be used across the zoo’s amenities and enclosures ahead of the busy summer season.

A big thank you to Dartmoor Zoo’s maintenance team for having us! It’s a great reminder that small actions, when done together, can make a real difference for our community and the environment.
