Simpkins Edwards strengthens tax and healthcare teams with appointment of new tax consultant

Devon and Exeter-based chartered accountancy firm Simpkins Edwards has bolstered the strength and capability of its senior tax and healthcare teams with the appointment of David Williams Bsc ACA CTA, formerly healthcare associate at Darnells, as a Tax Consultant.

David joins the firm’s tax team led by Tax Partner Chris Bowker.  David will also work closely with the firm’s Healthcare specialist team headed by Partners Sebastian Beard and Mark Simic.

David has particular expertise in personal tax, assisting clients with tax compliance, inheritance tax, capital gains, income tax, succession planning, preparation of tax returns and guidance related to property portfolios.

Over the past three years David has worked closely with dentists, consultants, pharmacists, surgeons and doctors, advising them on everything from tax considerations linked to buying and selling shares, through tax efficiency concerning the purchase and sale of property.
