22 December, 12pm-5pm

Devon’s favourite multi-award-winning holiday park, Cofton Country Holidays near Dawlish, is readying itself for the arrival of four very special guests on Thursday 22nd December when Father Christmas, his happy helper Elvina, and two of his most radiant reindeer come to Cofton for the afternoon.

Bringing the spirit of Christmas to Cofton whilst raising money for Children’s Hospice South West, the free to enter event will see Santa sweep in to Cofton on a sleigh drawn by Comet and Cupid at midday, ready for photos with children between 12pm and 1pm.

From 1.30pm party games will take place at the Warren Retreat in the main complex, where Santa will meet children and Comet and Cupid can be petted.  Festive food and drink will be available including mulled wine, mince pies, hot chocolate, cake and much more.  At 4pm the seasonal celebrations will continue with carols sung by the South Devon Singers bringing this sparkling event to a rousing end.

Commenting on Santa’s visit, Helen Scott, Director at Cofton Country Holidays, said: “Christmas is the season for giving, which is why we’re donating all money raised from Santa’s visit on 22 December to Children’s Hospice South West.

“We hope to put on a wonderful day of celebrations providing fun for all the family while raising money for a charity that is close to our heart.  Whether visitors are playing party games with Elvina and Father Christmas, taking a dip in the heated indoor pool or enjoying time in the soft play area, we’re sure that the Thursday before Christmas at Cofton will be a wonderful way to get in to the true spirit of Christmas.”
