Cofton Holidays launch newly refurbished high-end holiday apartments for 2018

South Devon’s multi-award winning holiday park, Cofton Holidays, has unveiled five newly re-furbished holiday apartments for 2018.Located near the pretty coastline at Dawlish Warren, the apartments have received a makeover from interior designer Julie Jeffery. They also received the approval of Anne Marie Morris, Member of Parliament for Newton Abbot, who was the first to be given a tour of the collection, which includes five high-end apartments within the impressive Georgian Eastdon House. With two and three bedroom apartments available, guests can enjoy both space and luxury during their stay in this scenic corner of South Devon.

The spacious holiday apartments in Eastdon House, a Georgian building built in the late eighteenth century, feature light and airy living and dining areas and include stylish dining tables and chairs, comfy sofas, elegant coffee tables and 55” TVs. Each apartment boasts impressive views of the rolling countryside, Exe Estuary and Dawlish Warren, and are decorated in modern grey tones. The apartments boast plush carpet throughout the living room, glittering chandeliers and a stylish kitchen area with integrated appliances, an abundance of storage space and wood effect vinyl flooring.

Bedrooms are furnished with super king size beds, double beds or singles individually made up with luxury Egyptian Cotton bed linen. Furnished with drawers or cupboards as well as side tables and lamps, guests will feel right at home. Further little touches include beautiful wall mirrors, handy dressing tables, rainfall showers, framed pictures of the Devon coastline and Exe View has a kitchen island to gather friends and family around. Guests staying in any of the Eastdon House apartments will also benefit from free Wi-Fi and complimentary pool passes for the indoor pool at the main holiday park.

Exe View, Meadowside and Warren View are all stylish two-bedroom apartments each with their own individual features. Meadowside benefits from the use of the ground floor conservatory, providing even more space to relax in on a sunny evening. Guests staying in Exe View, also on the ground floor, will be impressed with the beautiful far-reaching views across the Exe Estuary which are truly magnificent. Warren View, a sumptuous first floor apartment, boasts breath-taking views across the estuary, Dawlish Warren Nature Reserve and beyond. Bluewaters and Parklands are both three bedroom apartments on the first floor. Parklands benefits from bedrooms spreading across two floors.

Eastdon House is set away from the main park yet close enough to enjoy its facilities and entertainment. The woodland walk to the park is ideal for sunny days. Alternatively, guests can hop in the car to arrive at Cofton’s main site within just a few minutes.

Guests visiting the multi-award winning holiday park can look forward to a host of on-site facilities including a heated indoor pool with a splash pad area and hydrotherapy loungers, a gym, restaurant, pub, steam room, sauna, fitness studio, soft play area, playground, sports wall, outdoor pools and much more. Guests also have access to five coarse fishing lakes, miles of cycle paths and nature trails that take visitors through woodland to the golden sands of Dawlish Warren beach and nature reserve.

Cofton’s fitness centre, Ashburn Springs Spa and Leisure, has recently unveiled a £20,000 indoor cycling studio in addition to adding brand-new classes to the gym’s timetable. These include Les Mills GRIT Cardio, VIT Step and Zumba Gold.

Free kids’ clubs take place each day throughout the school holidays, from Easter through to the October half term. Other free activities on site include the new £50,000 Woodland Adventure Area which features a 25m zip line, a climbing cage, rope ladders, balance beam, balance lines and scramble nets.
