The Challenge

To generate credibility for and awareness of Turtons of Devon’s brand, service and products among chefs and procurement managers at premium restaurants and hotels in London and the South West.

Our Solution

Absolute managed an ongoing media relations campaign to communicate with target audiences through the national trade and regional consumer media. Stories included new contract wins, news of accreditations, industry trends and comments. We also prepared award entries, provided an events management service and assisted with Turtons of Devon’s customer communications.

What We Achieved

Absolute organised an event at London’s prestigious Butchers’ Hall to celebrate the launch of Black Label Beef. We invited London’s finest head and executive chefs to attend and handled all arrangements for the event. The well-attended event showcased the new beef range and included a butchery demonstration and presentations on its provenance. As a result of the event, Turtons secured a number of contracts with prestigious London restaurants and began discussions with a well-known luxury hotel. We also achieved widespread trade and regional media coverage. Our campaign was so successful that we have since been appointed to work with Steve Turton in his newest venture, Andrew James Butchery.
