Absolute PR & Marketing April – June 2025 Highlights

As we wrap up Q2, the Absolute team is reflecting on a 2nd quarter filled with impact, innovation, and some fantastic moments for our clients across the South West and beyond. From award wins and event launches to major media coverage and strategic campaign progress, here are a few standout highlights from the past three months. 

 

 

Treveth takes home a top sustainability award 

April saw long-standing B Corp client Treveth named winner of the Sustainable Development of the Year category at Insider’s South West Residential Property Awards. It’s a fantastic accolade that recognises the developer’s commitment to building high-quality, sustainable homes for people who live and work in Cornwall. 

Estuary Vets opens its doors 

We were proud to support the launch of Estuary Vets, a new, independent veterinary practice in Topsham. With purpose-built facilities and a mission to bring trusted, compassionate care back to the Exe Estuary, Estuary Vets has had a warm welcome from the local community. We supported with everything from branding to launch PR. 

High profile coverage for Cornwall Trade and Investment 

This quarter also saw the first InterCeltic Business Forum held in Cornwall. We supported Cornwall Trade and Investment (CTI) to secure broad media coverage around the event, which brought together Celtic nations to explore opportunities for economic growth and collaboration. Highlights included five radio interviews and three prominent features on BBC Radio Cornwall. The event also saw the launch of ‘Global Cornish’ – a new initiative aimed at activating the Cornish diaspora internationally.  

Later in the quarter, we also supported CTI at UKREiiF in Leeds, showcasing Cornwall’s £10 billion development pipeline to national media and industry stakeholders. From critical minerals and marine to space and housing, we helped spotlight Cornwall’s unique contribution to the UK’s green future. 

Devonshire Homes hosts successful open event 

We helped client Devonshire Homes promote its new site, Mariner’s Haven, in Ilfracombe with a successful open event that included family entertainment, a strong local turnout and a polished promo video as a lasting legacy. A great example of how thoughtful planning and creative content can go hand-in-hand. 

Big coverage for Teledyne at Ocean Business 

We supported Teledyne Marine and Teledyne Valeport at Ocean Business 2025, one of the world’s leading ocean technology exhibitions. With multiple new product launches, including next-gen navigation and sensing tech, our PR campaign generated more than 80 pieces of coverage across global, marine and trade media. A strong showing for a powerhouse brand in this innovative sector. 

150 pieces of coverage for Craggs Energy and Moorland Fuels 

Our work to raise the profile of employee owned business Craggs Energy and Moorland Fuels across Devon, Cornwall, Yorkshire and the North East continues to generate impact. In under 10 months, we’ve secured almost 150 pieces of media coverage, spotlighting their role in supporting rural homes, farms and businesses with sustainable fuel solutions. 

Sustain Britain: Greenprint in progress 

Looking ahead, we’re deep into work with Sustain Britain to design and deliver its Greenprint for a Sustainable, Independent Britain. We’re also helping plan its second national conference, coming this September. It’s work we’re proud to support as part of our wider mission to use communications as a force for good.
