Driving lead sales

In late summer, we took on the exciting challenge of helping Whalesborough promote availability of its new, high-end range of off-plan luxury eco-lodges, each available to buy from £749,000.

Aimed at the higher end of the market, our activity was designed to entice wealthy buyers, and to build a database of future purchasers to be retargeted as further new luxury holiday home properties come on board to buy.

Coinciding with the end of Summer, we developed adverts and editorial which appeared in The Sunday Times, The Daily Mail, and the Western Morning News. This was supported with the origination of a glossy investor guide for the Property Investor Show, plus e-shots to the databases of Landlord Today, Property Investor Today, and The Property Investor Show itself.

Working closely with Coast Magazine we set up a press trip to highlight the attractions of Bude, less than three miles from Whalesborough. This resulted in a wonderful five-page area guide for Coast Magazine’s discerning readers, directly boosting holiday bookings for Whalesborough, and setting the ground for news on the lodges.

Followed up by a double page spread on the eco-lodges in Coast Magazine the following month, and a ‘try before you buy’ competition to stay at Whalesborough, over 3,900 readers signed up to receive more information on Whalesborough, and its properties. We even secured inclusion in the Magazine’s top ten properties to buy in Cornwall.

As a result of our work, and despite the challenging economic environment, over 70% of Whalesborough’s off-plan villas have been sold to date, each one directly linked to our activity.
