Building reputations
With the welcome return of events and a thriving leisure and tourism sector, 2021 was an exciting time to commence our work with Buckfast Abbey in South Devon, working in partnership with Native Multimedia.
Adopting a unique blend of traditional and digital skills, we’ve been helping build awareness of Buckfast Abbey as a community of monks, a living monastery and a centre of culture and arts in the South West.
One of our first pieces of work was to launch Buckfast Abbey’s new, state-of-the-art Schiller Hall conferencing facility. Following a £2million renovation, it caught the attention of Business Live, Western Morning News, South West Business Insider and various other key regional titles.
We’ve also worked with key business networks, marketing to their databases through a series of external email campaigns, and a competition to win free use of the Schiller Hall. Combined, these multi-channel campaigns have generated a valuable new database of prospective business contacts for the conferencing centre.
But that’s not all. We announced the Abbey’s new fish pass, the launch of their Take Five educational festival and much more besides. In just six months we’ve delivered over 100 pieces of print, online and broadcast coverage both regionally and nationally with repeated coverage in the likes of BBC News Online, Western Morning News, BBC One South West, ITV Westcountry, BBC Radio Devon, and various Catholic media titles too, generating a publicity value well in excess of £80,000.
