Absolute PR and Marketing July – September 2025 Highlights

As we say goodbye to summer and hello to autumn, team Absolute are reflecting on a third quarter filled with purposeful campaigns, impactful results and happy clients across the South West and beyond. From worldwide media coverage to far-reaching social media campaigns, new home site completions to a sell-out sustainability conference, here are a few highlights from our busy summer.
Over 75 pieces of worldwide coverage for Teledyne Marine
We’ve had a standout quarter working with Teledyne Marine, a group of advanced subsea technology companies, generating more than 75 pieces of coverage in UK and international media outlets spanning the marine and environment trade media.
With no shortage of news from these innovative companies, we’ve been kept on our toes delivering a diverse mix of stories – from new product launches and contract wins to trade show activity.
A particular highlight was our first collaboration with Teledyne Water, supporting the launch of Hyperion32 at a time when water quality is high on the public agenda. The campaign helped position the technology at the forefront of wastewater management innovation ahead of WWEM 2025.
We also supported Teledyne Valeport Water with PR around their advanced sensors being deployed in a local council’s water quality monitoring project, marking the first time the local community will have real-time insights to local water quality data. This represents a vital step towards empowering and enabling data-driven decisions to tackle water pollution.
Together these campaigns help showcase the power and purpose behind Teledyne’s work in protecting and understanding our waters.
It’s a wrap on Blue Cedar Homes’ Exmouth development
This quarter, we’ve been working closely with housebuilder Blue Cedar Homes to help market its last remaining properties at its age exclusive Exmouth site, Orcombe Gardens.
Our team crafted organic social media posts and e-shots to support the sales campaign, contributing to a sell-out success at this luxury coastal development. The e-shots achieved exceptional open rates of 75% and 79%, far exceeding the industry average of around the 42% mark, demonstrating the strength of the messaging and audience engagement.
A sell-out conference for Sustain Britain
Many months of hard work by Team Absolute culminated in the second sell-out Sustain Britain Conference in mid-September.
Delegates from across the country descended on Royal Wootton Bassett to hear eminent speakers – including Sir Jonathon Porritt and Forum for the Future CEO Hannah Pathak – explore how best to deliver a more sustainable future for housing, employment and food.
Standout moments included:
- The launch of the ‘Greenprint for a Sustainable, Independent Britain’ – which the team at Absolute helped originate and design.
- The award of a £50,000 grant to the Royal Wooton Bassett Environment Trust – marking the first few months of operations by the Sustain Wiltshire Community Interest Company, which has been established to donate all profits to local causes.
- The airing of an animated film – scripted and storyboarded by Absolute – explaining how Sustain Wiltshire’s Super-Midden will provide year-round affordable fruit and vegetables for the local community using energy from landfill methane to heat and power positively pressured greenhouses.
- Cheers, applause, and ovations for Nick Ash of Sustain Britain and the panel of speakers, marking an end to another highly successful sell-out conference.
- Over 40 pieces of coverage in the run up to and following the conference including pieces in The i, on the BBC, in regional media, in waste sector press, and in sustainability media.
All told, it has been quite a quarter to remember for Sustain Britain. Now the planning starts for next year’s conference!
Treveth’s flagship low carbon housing scheme reaches completion
Another new homes site to honour, this time in Cornwall as our client Treveth celebrated completion at its Redruth site, Gwel Basset.
Delivered in partnership with Vistry South West, Gwel Basset is Treveth’s first residential scheme to adopt its own sustainable Design Guide which sets new standards for quality, design, and low carbon development in Cornwall. It is one of the largest residential projects in the UK designed to achieve challenging whole-life carbon emissions targets set for 2030.
With tenures spanning open market sale, open market rent, shared ownership and affordable rent, all homes are now occupied.
Absolute is proud to have worked on the PR and Marketing for this flagship site since we partnered with Treveth in 2022. With work including social media promotion, award submissions, email marketing, press releases and media relations, we are delighted to see this high-quality new homes site welcome residents.
Several new schemes are in the pipeline, including projects in St. Austell, Penzance, Bodmin and Newquay, and we look forward to supporting the Treveth team as these new projects come to life.
Experiencing the power of Facebook ads with Devonshire Homes
We’re great advocates for Facebook advertising as we know it has the power to target specific audiences and generate leads. Working with Devonshire Homes since 2016, we run regular Facebook campaigns and every year, we know it’s a necessity to run campaigns throughout the summer holidays whilst footfall in the West Country is high.
This quarter, we ran Facebook website traffic campaigns across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. The ads were a great success, generating over 5,500 link clicks, reaching over 102,500 people and generating over 342,000 impressions.
Embracing AI and discovering new tools
In addition to our work with clients, we have also been investing time learning about new AI technologies and the tools that are available to support (not replace) our industry. The team are currently undergoing regular training to learn all about AI, the benefits it can bring and how it is evolving in the hope that we can better understand how we can incorporate new tools into our daily work for the benefit of our clients and ourselves.
As we head into quarter four, we are excited to continue our purposeful work with our clients, ending 2025 on a high.
