A year of record-breaking property sales

According to the main trade body for UK banks, 2021 is on course to be the strongest year for home-buying activity since 2006. The buoyancy of the property market this year has been welcome news for our property clients, Blue Cedar Homes (pictured left) and Devonshire Homes (pictured right) who have achieved major milestones this year.

By mid-2021, Blue Cedar Homes had sold out six of their seven developments with limited properties available at their The Millpool development, which secured ‘Small Residential Development of the Year 2021’ at the respected South West Business Insider Residential Property Award. With our help, it was also shortlisted at the prestigious Michelmores Property Awards 2021 too.

2021 has also been a significant year for Devonshire Homes, with what has felt like at times an almost unquenchable demand for their new homes across the South West. Just last month, the independent award-winning housebuilder received planning permission for a new site, The Grange in East-the-Water, Bideford. The development of 225 units is a significant milestone for Devonshire Homes and we’ve already secured seven pieces of coverage for it in both regional and trade media titles. This year also saw the return of their charity golf day.  We were delighted to event manage this special biennial fundraising day, helping Devonshire Homes raise over £5000 and taking the total amount raised for charity by the housebuilder this year to £11,000.
