South Hams District Council has approved planning permission for a new homes development off Belle Hill in Kingsbridge.

Detailed planning permission was granted by South Hams District Council to Devonshire Homes for a residential scheme of 94 homes. The development, named Applegate Park, will offer a mix of one, two, three and four bedroom homes and includes an affordable homes contribution. Construction at Applegate Park is expected to begin in April 2020.

LiveWest is working in partnership with Devonshire Homes and this will be the second collaboration between both organisations to deliver both open market and affordable homes.

LiveWest is the largest housing association in the South West, managing nearly 37,000 homes to more than 70,000 customers across the region.

As part of the planning permission and under the S106, various contributions are to be made which include: £265k towards secondary education; £207k towards sports and recreation and £20k towards early years education.
