Redrow hosts Investor Event with team of experts

Leading housebuilder Redrow is teaming up with a number of West Country law firms, accountants and letting agencies to host an all-encompassing Investor Event at its exciting Plymouth development, Vision on Thursday 12th November between 4-8pm.
Redrow is experiencing strong demand in Plymouth for its 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and the Investor Event is designed to help those interested in investing in the mixed-use neighbourhood. Located on Park Avenue, Vision includes more than 450 new homes, shops, offices and community facilities.
Alongside Redrow’s knowledgeable team of representatives, a range of experts including Bishop Fleming chartered accountants, Foot Anstey law, Countrywide estate agents and Barton Wykes lettings will be on hand to offer independent and  professional  advice.
Andrew Addison, Sales Director at Redrow (West Country) commented: “With the Centre for Economic Business Research predicting that house prices will increase by 15% in the next 5 years, now’s a great time to think about investing in property. If you’re a first-time private landlord, or if you’ve got a larger property portfolio, you’ll pick up some really useful information at the Investor Event.”
Andrew continued: “We’ve got all bases covered at the event from law and lettings to tax and accountancy, so this is the perfect event for anyone thinking about buying-to-let with Redrow to come and speak to a team of experts in a relaxed setting about the opportunities offered by property ownership at our Vision development.”
The event is being held at Redrow’s popular Plymouth development, Vision where there is a range of properties available including a fantastic selection of newly released 1 and 2 bedroom apartments.
Dominic Harry, Senior Tax Manager at Bishop Fleming’s explains the compelling reasons why an event like this is so useful right now: “The Summer Budget proposals affecting buy-to-let landlords are potentially far reaching – and costly. Add to this the proposed changes to the tax treatment of landlords’ expenses from 6 April 2016, and there is every reason for residential landlords – whatever the size of their property portfolio – to now seek appropriate advice on the tax implications for them and what they can do to minimise the impact of the new rules.”
Those interested in attending Redrow’s Investor Event on Thursday 12th November should register their interest by contacting the Marketing Suite at Vision on 01752 651 231 by email to: or by visiting the Marketing Suite which is open seven days a week, from 10am to 5.30pm.
