Millbrook Village Christmas concert helps raise over £400 for Force and Devon Wildlife Trust

Residents from Millbrook Village, Exeter’s only luxury retirement village, helped raise over £400 for Force and Devon Wildlife Trust following their Christmas choral event which was held on 2nd December.  Rousing renditions from the Exeter Male Voice Choir and a collection of carols raised the roof and brought everyone together in a celebration of the season.
Residents and guests enjoyed delicious festive fayre, mulled wine and a raffle to win a Christmas hamper from Darts Farm, which together with a fundraising collection raised £256 for the two charities on the night.  This was then topped up by Renaissance Villages to bring the total collected for the two charities to £470.
Karen Tibbs, Sales and Marketing Manager for Renaissance Villages, which hosted the event at Millbrook Village, said: “The evening was a huge success helping to raise valuable funds for two very worthy causes that have been supported by Millbrook Village in 2015. The performance by the Exeter Male Voice Choir, whose members donated their time for the evening, was outstanding!  We can’t thank them enough.”
