Leading Devon hotel launches “secret South West” tours

In response to growing demand from visitors to the region looking for new experiences, a leading Devon hotel has unveiled a new range of exclusive excursions to allow its guests to discover the hidden gems of the South West first hand.
The historic Bedford Hotel in the heart of Tavistock has teamed up with Select South West Tours to offer a selection of full day tours to experience the highlights of Devon and Cornwall’s natural environment, heritage and culture.
A “Hidden Gems of Plymouth” tour includes the chance to experience a trip on a luxury motor yacht, and visit a decommissioned nuclear submarine. Other tours include the highlights of the South Devon coast, including the unique Burgh Island with its Art Deco hotel, and the North Cornwall coast.
Guests staying at The Bedford will be collected from the hotel’s front door in a high-specification Land Rover Discovery by expert local guide and qualified advanced driver James Coulton. These bespoke luxury packages will take guests off the regular tourist trail to enjoy the best experiences and destinations on offer in the South West.
