Blue Cedar Homes celebrates 150 sales as latest residents move in

Blue Cedar Homes, a leading developer of age-exclusive, high quality homes, has marked its 150th sale by welcoming its latest happy customers, Mr and Mrs Cooper, to their stunning new luxury home at Stannary Gardens in Dartmoor National Park.
Since it was established in 2008, Blue Cedar Homes has completed 17 developments across the south and south west of England after Managing Director, Nick Hole, identified a need for stylish and high quality homes in desirable locations that offer additional lifestyle benefits for people in retirement.
“From the beginning, we set out to create homes for people who are retired, not retirement homes. We’re seeing a whole generation approaching an active and independent retirement who want a home for life that suits them now, and will continue to meet their requirements in the future,” says Nick. “To reach our 150th sale is a wonderful achievement which follows a tremendous year of growth for Blue Cedar Homes. We have a number of new schemes coming forward for development in 2018 and are experiencing a great deal of demand for our well designed properties for the over 55s.”
Mrs and Mrs Cooper moved to plot 15 at Stannary Gardens in July and are delighted to have found their perfect property close to home.
“We’ve lived in Chagford for 24 years and the houses at Stannary Gardens caught our eye,” comments Mrs Cooper. “We watched the houses being built and were impressed with the build and quality. The fact that the house is freehold with no hidden charges is a bonus.”
“The purchase process with Blue Cedar Homes was very easy and straightforward,” adds Mr Cooper. “Now, we’re looking forward to meeting new friends and enjoying our garden, which is even easier with John the Estate Manager to take care of the mowing!”
Blue Cedar Homes developments are set in exclusive private communities, in desirable locations. All gardening and external maintenance is taken care of by a visiting Estate Manager, leaving homeowners free to spend their leisure time how they wish – either at home or away. Blue Cedar Homes properties are designed around spacious and flexible internal layouts that can adapt to future needs, including single floor living if required.
Nick continues: “We want our customers to enjoy a new lease of life. By providing properties that meet the more specific of over 55s needs, we can support them in making the most of this new phase of life in their perfect home, while releasing much needed family housing back onto the open market.”
